It means freedom.

In the West African Yoruba language, Òmìnira means liberation. Working from a liberatory framework, we help clients learn to center rest, healing, and restoration. Without this frame we risk carrying forward the toxicity of racism, sexism, patriarchy, homophobia and abelism.

At OmiNira, we believe that taking time to heal and rest is not a luxury, it is essential to how we collectively imagine a liberated future.

We believe that in order to imagine the future, people can’t be mired in the problems of the present.

What We Do

Our framework is designed to provide space and opportunity for people to rest, play, and connect. To shift out of survival mode and into a mindset of possibility and abundance.

OmiNira focuses on healing and restoring people, organizations and communities that can imagine a better version of our collective future. We need to be well rested, clear minded and given opportunities to learn and engage in practices that shift them out of fight or flight and into peace and clarity. Our mission is to provide opportunities to do just that.

These principals inform our services offered. Including:
